CENTRAL LIBRARY
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi
University has a central Library and reference library in all
the colleges. The central Library has recently installed LibSys
Software for library automation, issue an return process.
The central Library of the University provides various
services for its members
such as lending of books and journal back volumes,
reservation of books, inter library loan,
document delivery, photocopying, and CDROM. Central
library is in the process of computerization
including bar coded ID cards, issue and
receipt of books and journals.
The reference Library of School caters to the
information needs of the faculty, students,
research scholar etc. IT has around 10700 books
and 87 subscribed periodicals & Journals covering all disciplines
of management, Engineering, Sciences, Culture and Philosophy.
The collection comprises printed documents such as books,
reports, standards, journal back volumes. The non book
collections include material like audio/ video cassettes and CDROM discs.
