The procedure for admission to Post Graduate Programmes  is as follows:
 

Program Minimum Eligibility Criteria Selection Basis Master of Business Administration The admission to M. B.A. will be open to Graduate in any stream from a recognized University/Institution. The Candidate must have secured at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination. Students appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply subject to their passing the examination before the admission are finalized   Short listing by Valid MAT Score followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview       Master of Technology in Energy Management The admission to M. Tech course in Energy Management will be open to Graduate in Architecture, Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Master of Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics. The students must have secured at least 60%  marks in the qualifying examination. Students appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply subject to their passing the examination before the admission are finalized   Written Test and Interview   Master of Technology in Manufacturing & Automation The admission to M. Tech course in Manufacturing & Automation will be open to Graduate in Mechanical, Production & Industrial Engineering from a recognized University/Institute. GATE qualified candidates will be preferred. The students must have secured at least 60%  marks in the qualifying examination. Students appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply subject to their passing the examination before the admission are finalized   Written Test and Interview   Master of Business Administration ( Business Economics) The admission to M. B. A. (BE) will be open to Graduate in any stream from a recognized University/Institution. The Candidate must have secured at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination. Students appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply subject to their passing the examination before the admission are finalized Short listing by Valid MAT Score followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview Master of  Science in Mathematics The admission to M. Sc. Mathematics will be open to Graduate in any stream with mathematics as a subject from recognized University / Institution. Must have secured at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination. Students appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply subject to their passing the examination before the admission are finalized Written Test and / or Interview   Master of  Science in Bio-Technology The admission to M. Sc. Bio-Technology will be open to Graduate in any stream with Bot./ Zoo./ Microbio./ Biotech./ Biochem./ Agriculture as a subject from recognized University / Institution. Must have secured at least 55% marks in the qualifying examination.   Short listing by Merit Rank objtained in entrance test conducted by Thapar University. Master of  Science in Physics The admission to M. Sc. Physics will be open to Graduate in any stream with physics/electronics as a subject from recognized University / Institution. Must have secured at least 55% marks in the qualifying examination. Students appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply subject to their passing the examination before the admission are finalized   Written Test and / or Interview
