Passport and Visa:

To visit India, you must have a valid passport & visa. Please contact the nearest Indian Embassy or Consulate for visa requirements.

Letter of Invitation:

Upon request, the Conference Secretariat will supply participants with personal invitations to the Conference. These invitations are meant to help visitors raise travel funds or obtain visas.

Climate:

The average temperature (min-max) in Katra during the period of the conference is about 15 - 20 degrees Celsius.

Currency Exchange:

Only Indian Rupees (INR) is acceptable at regular shopping centers and restaurants.

Airport & Railway Station:

The nearest airport & Railway Station is located in Jammu about 45kms from the campus.

Electricity:

Electric current is uniformly 220 volts, AC; with a frequency of 50 Hz. sockets usually accept a two and/ or three-leg plug.

Shopping:

The nearest major shopping and other sales outlets are located in Katra town which is about 12kms from the University campus. Jammu town has bigger market places and is 45kms from the campus.

Insurance:

The organizers will not accept responsibility for accidents that might occur. All the international delegates are advised to procure travel insurance before leaving home country.
