RESEARCH
Ph.D. Programme
The SMVDU school of Business offers Ph.D. programme to
management post graduates in the area of Finance, Marketing, HR, OB
and managerial economics. The University Research Committee (URC)
finalizes all admission matters and registration matters relating to
Ph.D. A few research assistantships are available for Ph.D.
programme. Selected candidates for Ph.D. programme are given
research assistantship as per SMVDU rules.
Candidates desirous to get admission must submit their application
in the prescribed format (downloadable from our website) to the
Director, School of Business.
Industry-Institution linkage
In order to develop corporate interaction, dignitaries from
corporate world are invited in the SMVDU campus so that students may
identify the gaps between management theory and business practice.
This helps in understanding the trade off between theory and
practice and thereby resolving them as and when occasion arises.
Publication
The SMVDU School of Business publishes a bi-annual
Journal of management, "Arth Anvesan" in
collaboration with School of Economics with an objective of development of research
aptitude among faculty and students. Besides this research Journal also help in supplementing teaching as teaching and research go
hand in hand.
