LABORATORY INFRASTRUCTURE

Technology enabled information management is not only an advancement in itself but it has become a necessity in today's life and business. The School of Economics endeavours to provide students with the latest in technology, be it hardware or software. Our computer technology lab is well-equipped with state-of-the-art computer networks and hi-end softwares, which are being used in the fields of Economics and research. The laboratory is used extensively by students for research work and for learning specialized packages like SPSS, Prowess & EIS, which are used for Statistical,                                            M. Econometric, Forecasting and Time-Series analysis.  High bandwidth  internet  connectivity round-the-clock is available to one and all SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science). Laboratory is enriched with SPSS 13.0 version, which provides access not only to conventional econometrics but also modern analytical tools like Exponential Smoothing, Auto-regression, ARIMA, Logit & Probit analysis etc.

CMIE (Center for Monitoring of Indian Economy)

Laboratory is enriched with CMIE databank including Economic Intelligent Service (EIS) for wholesome database of Indian Economy and Prowess for day to day   details and analysis of corporate sector and stock market.
