ACTIVITIES
The School of Mechanical Engineering is going to launch a
National peer-reviewed journal named “SMVDU-National Journal of
Mechanical Engineering” in May 2006.
The school has purchased AutoCAD 2006 software and the course
‘Engineering Graphics’ to 1st year students is being
taught using the software exclusively. Mr. Ankush Anand and Mr.
Deepak Jain Lectures, have participated in a 2 day training
programmme conducted by AutoDesk at PEC, Chandigarh during 6-7
Feburary 2006.
The School of Mechanical engineering is setting up the central
workshop of the University. The central workshop with latest
state-of-art facilities will be fully functional from June 2006
onwards.
