RESEARCH
The faculty members of the School of Mechanical Engineering are
actively involved in conducting research works. A national
peer-reviewed journal named ''SMVDU-National Journal of
Mechanical Engineering'' is going to be launched soon. Faculty
members are pursuing research in the areas of applications of
graph theory and matrix approach and non-traditional
optimization techniques in manufacturing engineering.
High speed machining of nickel based super alloys, environment
friendly machining operations, and CAD/CAM/CIM are the other
areas of active research.
