Sun Club, SMVDU
Founded in the last month of last year, Sun Club of SMVDU has more than 200 members from various semesters of Engineering courses.
Its basic aim is to familiarize students with various SUN Technologies like JAVA, Solaris, Netbeans and expose them to the communities concerned.
To achieve its goal, Club organizes regular Demonstration sessions, Quizzes, Competitions and also Expert classes. It also encourages students to actively participate in various researches.
Currently Sun -Club has undertaken project CAMS, which aims to fully automate the various processes of university management.
The main technologies that sun club covers includes
Activities :
1. Java Class organised to motivate students and keep them updated with the new technologies.
2. "Sun Tech-Fest" organised on 28th April 2008.
