MESSAGE FROM PLACEMENT OFFICER
This is my profound privilege to be a part of   ''Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University'', an Upcoming integrated global academic corporate. Entire university has been perceived and being built on modern corporate lines to provide quality professional education of international standards to the young generation.
The world has undergone a vast change and more so in the last decade, the trend is continued and is expected to be far more unpronounced. The need therefore for individuals and organizations to be geared up for tomorrow is far greater that ever before. To be able to face the actual world of work individual need being qualified, well informed, with confidence of speech, with positive attitude and knowledgeable about areas that require skilled and proficient manpower. To meet the ever changing and increasing demands of dynamic economy and competitive industry the academic organizations need to be proactive about research and placement activities. This is the only mantra to survive in the present competitive world.
On the same lines the  primary focus of the university is to bring articulate, confident and conversant group of technocrats and managers, where the major emphasis is put not to cram the theories but to channelize their energies through university efforts giving more emphasis on, live industrial problems as projects, hands on  practical experiences, seminars, debates, conferences, case studies and of course industry-institution interaction  by inviting the industries  to the university and visiting there works. Also the faculty is motivated and facilitated suitably to develop themselves and promote research and development culture in the university.
To help establishing the vital link between the students and prospective employers for placement, corporate world and academic machinery for research and knowledge exchange, university has established a separate division ''Corporate Relations and Scientific Research Division''.
