New Scholarships Announced for Meritorious Students from Academic Session 2018-19

Keeping with its tradition of encouraging merit at all levels, SMVDU has recently introduced Special Scholarships for meritorious students joining the B.Tech., B.Arch. & M.B.A. Program at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University from Academic Session 2017-18. The students fulfilling the criteria will be awarded the scholarships from the First Semester itself. The details of the scholarships are as follows:

Above 500 & up-to 1500 AIR (CRL) in JEE (Mains) examination Full Tuition Fee waiver for first 04 Semesters
Above 1500 & up-to 3000 AIR (CRL) in JEE (Mains) examination Full Tuition Fee waiver for first 03 Semesters
MBA Above 90 percentile in MAT/CMAT Full Tuition Fee waiver for 01st year & 50% Tuition Fee waiver for 2nd Year

Note: The student is required to maintain a CGPA of 7.5 with no backlogs

Student Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) has initiated Student Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme (SMMSS) to inculcate work culture and competitive spirit among the students. SMMSS erstwhile (Student Assistantship Programme) SAP has been in existence since 2005 and for the first time in the state of Jammu & Kashmir by any University at this scale.
